1st Problem -
The TLC Web Site Is (Was) Down Again ...

6-14-01 - Good News - The TLC web site has returned once again. I heard it was restored by 7 pm this evening. They explained to me this morning that the BINGO site had been hacked so Ms. Cloud shut it all down as a precaution.

Bad News - June 13, 2001 - I know ... the TLC web site is down again but this time they have a notice posted. I do not know what is going on nor did I get an explanation about it being down this past week-end either. I will ask them tomorrow and will report it then if I can. So, stay tuned.

June 9, 2001 - I've received tons of emails and calls about the TLC web site being down so I'm putting this page up to let you know that I spoke with them yesterday and they said they had been taking calls too and did not know what was going on.

Until 7 pm last night, I was able to access their site. Then no more. I know that I've taken calls and messages from San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Amarillo and just everywhere for the past 3 days so I can only assume their shut down has been a gradual statewide thing.

Rest assured, I'm sure they are trying to do whatever they can to resolve this problem.

June 10, 2001 - Good news - their web site is back! I'm not sure exactly what time the TLC web site returned to civilization, but it was somewhere between the hours of 2 AM - 10 AM on June 10, 2001

2nd Problem -
Wrong numbers or NO numbers ... how frustrating for ya'll ...
Incorrect Cash 5 numbers & No Texas 2 Step numbers reported for June 8, 2001 ...

I'm truly sorry about all this folks but there is nothing I can do. BUT - I can explain what happened ....

The TLC has a private media results phone line that's available for the Media Only but unfortunately, the TLC erred last night (June 8, 2001) and gave the Texas 2 Step numbers as the Cash 5 results for Friday, June 8th. Then they failed to update the Texas 2 Step results line too, meaning - all that was available were incorrect numbers or no numbers for Friday, June 8th. Then to compound matters, there was no web site either.

Several radio stations contacted me Friday night (June 8th) for verification of the drawing results but since I no longer receive "official" verification from the TLC, I could not give it to them. I had to explain that the TLC cut off my communications last year claiming they no longer considered me a "news organization." One outlet got really mad when they learned this ...

I tried to reach the TLC staff at the drawing studio last night (June 8th) at 11:15 pm to alert them to this problem but there was no answer. I'm probably the only one (media wise) who has the number to the drawing studio. Anyway, do know the numbers that I posted last night (June 8) were correct for all drawings as I do not use the media results line.

I'm sincerely sorry for all the frustrations this has caused ya'll - this is really a stroke of bad luck for the TLC.
