I'm Mad ... I'm Really Mad ... Here's My Beef ...

Part ONE
TLC issues deceiving Press Releases for the $95M jackpot.
The TLC knew all Lotto Texas combinations were being
bought for the 4/22/23 draw guaranteeing a win prior
to writing and approving the press releases. The TLC
misled you. They certainly didn't want anyone to know
that sales were coming in via the Apps.

Part TWO
TLC knows Lotto Texas tickets are being sold to
out of state and out of country people via
Apps
- phone and internet sales.
In most cases, the person who owns the App
also owns the so called "Retail Store." The TLC
knows this too. You will hear Gary Grief admit
this in his TV interview. There is NO real "courier
service" like they want you to believe. Unless you
call a "computer" a courier service!

----------------

TLC issues deceiving Press Releases
for the $95M jackpot

On the left side of this page, you will see
draw sales for each of the 93 draws leading up
to the $95 million jackpot. Using common sense
in reviewing these figures, do you REALLY think
"Texas" lottery players suddenly went out and
spent $28.1 million on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday leading up to the draw? Of course not.

But this is what the TLC portrayed to you until they
got caught on Monday 4/24/23 when reporters started
asking how a store called "Lottery Now" could have
sold the winning ticket when there was no such store.
After these calls started and wouldn't quit, this was
when the 3rd press release was issued. The TLC
wanted to get ahead of the main stream media to
"clarify" where the ticket sales came from!

Interestingly, the TLC didn't post a Press Release on
Sunday about the $95 million win. Rather, it appears,
they simply issued a statement stating that some lucky
person from North Texas purchased the winning ticket
at Lottery Now in Colleyville. At least this is what
I heard on the news. This statement really angered me
because it went all over radio and TV and people
believed that someone from North Texas won.
And they may have but it is NOT likely.

Anyway, let's look at both deceiving press
releases then we'll look at how the TLC
backstroked in their 3rd release.
In my humble opinion, that is ...

You do need to be prepared to get mad as HELL ...
So if you have high blood pressure, don't read any further!

--------------

In 3 Days, TLC Raises The Lotto TX
Jackpot From $74 Million to $95 Million

On Wednesday night (4/19/23)
after the Lotto Texas drawing ...

The TLC announced that there was no jackpot
winning ticket so the next jackpot for Saturday,
4/22/23, would be an estimated $74 million.

On Friday (4/21/23), the TLC issued the 1st Press Release ...
In it, the TLC announced a jackpot increase for Saturday's,
4/22/23 drawing. The jackpot would be an estimated $83M
due to "steady sales." The press release quoted Gary Grief
saying, "we know Texas Lottery players are excited to
have an EXCLUSIVE chance at winning the largest
jackpot prize on the continent.
" (2nd paragraph)

Talk about a line of do-do. "Exclusive???" (I'll explain in
a second after we talk about the next press release.)

On Saturday afternoon - draw day (4/22/23) ...
The Texas Lottery announced another jackpot increase
for that night's drawing. The jackpot would be an
est $95 million due to "surging sales." The press
release
quotes Gary Grief, in the 2nd paragraph,
"Texas Lottery players are turning out in DROVES
to have the EXCLUSIVE chance at winning the
largest Lotto Texas jackpot since May of 2010.
"

So you're thinking, why am I so upset over the
press releases and the jackpot increases?
Why am I wasting time covering this issue?

An easy answer ...

Grief knew that all 25.8 million Lotto Texas combinations
were currently being sold via "app(s)" at the time both
press releases were issued
. Tickets were NOT being
sold at his 17,000 retailers statewide. In real time, he
knew EXACTLY where sales were coming from.

Here's what he was seeing from JUST 8 so-called
"retail locations." (The figures shown below are the
totals, but the TLC was watching sales increase by
the hour/minute in real time leading up to the total.

* There are other App stores but I don't know what their sales were.

** I used 10% for fees/service charges but I know
that at least one of the Apps charges a flat rate of 15%.
Meaning if you put $100 in your App account, they deduct
$115 from your bank account or from your credit card. I've
also seen where a player deposited $1 in their app acct but
the App took $1.93 from her bank. It appears she literally paid
$1.93 for ONE Lotto Texas ticket. More to come on this later.

*** It goes without saying that some of these retailers may have
had walk in customers that bought and walked away with a
"real" lottery ticket. Therefore, I need to say "Approx" earnings
in the column marked "Fee or Service Charge." I can
assure you, these figures are very close to what
the App owners actually earned.

**** Corrected figure/typo - totals were correct
( I just accidentally typed same figure twice)
Thank you readers for alerting me to this error!

Back to the First 2 Press Releases
By carefully wording the first two press releases, it is
my opinion, that Grief purposely and intentionally was
trying to cover up what was truly going on. By using
language like "exclusive chance" and "Texas
Lottery players are turning out in droves
," well
this implies that players were swamping stores to buy
Lotto Texas tickets. And that just wasn't so and the
TLC, Legal and Media Relations all knew it.
To me, I perceive this as an out and out LIE.

He was not only deceiving REAL Texas players
but his loyal 17,000 lottery retailers who put
the TLC on the map.

As you can see, by monitoring sales, it was a clear indication
that someone was cornering the market and guaranteeing
themselves a hefty win of $95 million (CVO - $57.8 million).
It was only going to cost them $25.8 million. Our biggest
problem is, we may never know who won this money.
Maybe it was insiders? Maybe nobody won and the
state gets to keep the money. Maybe there's kick
backs for allowing this technology to proceed.

We'll never know.

Now Comes the 3rd Release, April 24, 2023 PM
The TLC Admits What I Told You On Saturday!

I do not believe this release would have been issued had
it not been for the calls from the main stream media ...
NBC, CBS, Dallas Morning News, USA TODAY Network
and others. (Links to the news media's stories are below)

In the April 25th press release, the TLC
admitted that the winning $95 million ticket was
"likely" purchased by a "group," using an app, and
the group "may" not be from the state of Texas.

I need to say that the 3rd release and Grief's
TV interview is still full of BS. He's trying to
portray that this is an issue for the legislature.
This is another LIE. To see why I say this,
you need to watch the testimony at the ...

TX Senate Finance Committee Hearing
- Watch this incredible video -

When you get to this site ...
1) Select month of "February 2023"
2) Select "Senate Finance II"
3) Select "Feb 14, 2023"
4) Start the video then fast forward to 2:10:40.
This is the beginning of the TLC's, Gary Grief's,
testimony. Senator's questions, pertaining to
the apps, are at end of Grief's testimony
which is only 8 minutes long.

Now let's put the Cherry on the Cake!
Move forward to 3:46:10

to hear the testimony of Rob Kohler. After
Mr. Kohler's testimony, where he tells the
Senators what the TLC "really" did, listen to
Senator Bob Hall's questions and comments

-- Looks Like Unhappy Senators To Me --
Very interesting to say the least!

Everybody needs to read and watch these new stories.
For the newspapers, you will have to pay a $1 for a

you to pay it. More stories are forthcoming and
this way you will be able to read them.
Also, keep in mind, we need to help
keep the news organizations in business.

- Part 2 -

I hope to have Part 2 posted Saturday PM. It will cover
the apps and the so-called "courier" services. Here's a
teaser for you that you'll see in Part 2 .... <grin>

According to Mr. Grief's testimony and comments in
the papers, "3rd parties" takes your order, then they
send a "courier to a brick and mortar retailer" where
they purchase your lottery tickets. Then they take a
"digital picture of the ticket" and send it to you.

Well, here's a picture of a lottery ticket that a
"courier" bought at a brick and mortar store.
Do your lottery tickets have your name and
the name of the app on it??? Looks like it
nothing more than a computer generated
jpg or gif to me - there's no bar code on it!

BUT, you are going to see that their
computer generated data is NOT always
reliable!

And if this isn't enough, wait til you hear about
the App that's using AI (artificial intelligence) to pick
numbers for you. WOW ... if this is successful,
all lotteries will have to shut down!

Many thanks to the players who have
provided so much information to me.
