About This Page And The "Continued" Pages
("Continued" Link At Bottom of This Page)

Here you will see the division of prize monies for all Lotto Texas
drawings since July 1, 2000. They are in separate tables for each
"roll" - meaning all consecutive draws until there was a Lotto Texas
jackpot winner. You will see who won, how much they were
paid, the interest factor and who sold the winning ticket.

When there is no Lotto Texas jackpot winner, his percentage of sales,
40.47% of sales, is "carried over." When someone finally wins Lotto Texas,
you add the carryover from each drawing in the roll and this is how much he
receives UNLESS the "investment cost" (cost to fund the Texas Lotto jackpot
which is based on the current factor - interest rate) is greater than the amount
in the "prize pool." The TLC guarantees the greater of the two figures.

Effective 8/23/21 - Lotto Texas will go to 3 draws per week.
Monday's, Wednesday's & Saturdays. The game is
still failing so this is just another attempt for them to
increase sales. They are banking on players continuing
to spend their money on a game that has few winners and
lousy payouts. It will fail again ... because players will
NOT support Monday drawings - in my humble opinion!

It appears this winning ticket was purchased via the internet or via a cell phone.
Both of which is illegal in the state of TX but the TLC has been turning their heads
and allowing it. For a better understanding, I would suggest you read the 4/22/23
entry on the Daily Page. More will be posted in the coming days and weeks.

Retailer As Reported by the Texas Lottery:
"Lottery Now" 5200 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville
Problem is, there is NO retail store at this address. Lottery Now
is the corporate name of an organization that owns an app
called Mido Lotto where players can buy lottery tickets
online or through cell phones. Players pay MORE than
$1 per ticket. Story to be posted by Tues (4/25/23) pm.

Lotto Texas - Brief History
Lotto Texas began in Nov 1992. The matrix was 6/50.
The Texas Lottery added four balls (6/54) to the Lotto Texas on July 19, 2000.
The Texas Lottery changed the matrix again on May 7, 2003 - 5/44 and 1/44 - 88 balls.
The Texas Lottery changed the matrix again on April 23, 2006 back to 6/54, however,
they reduced the low tier prize amounts and lowered the prize pool to 50% of sales
The Texas Lottery added EXTRA to Lotto Texas on April 14, 2013. The matrix
and prize allocations remained the same. The add on game - with a cost of $1 -
increased the low tier prize amounts IF a player paid the extra dollar to play it.

When the TLC changed Lotto Texas on May 7, 2003, they lowered the
players percentage of sales from 55% to 52%. Then when they went
back to the matrix of 6/54 on April 23, 2006, they again lowered the
players percentage of sales from 52% to 50% with NO guarantee
that we'll actually see 50% of sales returned to players in way of prizes.
