Mega Millions & Megaplier Winning Numbers

About the Oct 2017 changes for Mega Millions
On Oct 28, 2017, the odds will increase from
258,890,000
million-to-one to 302,575,350 million-to-one. Additionally,
the cost of a single ticket increased to $2.
Based on the colossal odds of the game and the fact that they
don't/won't sell enough tickets to put a dent in the total combinations
to generate a winner, one could easily arrive at a conclusion
that the Mega Millions group intends for there to be fewer
jackpot and low tier winners. The new 2017 rule guarantees
fewer tickets will
be sold due to the price increase
meaning less coverage.
Fact ... out of an est 104 draws per year ...
2013 - 11 Jackpot Winners
2014 - 9 Jackpot Winners
2015 - 8 Jackpot Winners
2016 - 8 Jackpot Winners
2017 - 6 Jackpot Winners (As of 10/23/17)
Now who thinks there will be more winners? <grin>
They will be selling a "Just the Jackpot" ticket for $3
but it contains 2 sets of numbers. Currently called a "promotion,"
it can be discontinued at any time. This wager is "legal" highway
robbery ... worse than a "suckers bet." IMHO!
Below is the new odds and prize amounts.
