The Scratch Offs - See how many tickets remain unclaimed for the top 4 prizes. Then you can figure out which tickets you want to buy. Always current. Help the Tx Lottery by printing this out and taking it to your local retailer so he can let other players have current data. The Scratch Offs - See everything the Texas Lottery Commission doesn't publicize about the scratch tickets like the odds for winning each prize, the total printed and the total prizes printed for each prize category. Click here.

The TLC is preventing players from readily finding out how many scratch offs were ordered/printed and how many prizes there are for each prize in the game. They've deleted the data from their promotional pieces thinking what players don't know, will help their sales! Click here.

The "under-handed" rule change. November 8, 1996 was the day the TLC positioned themselves to start taking advantage of players by changing the wording from "shall pay" to "may pay." It's all about money! Click here for story.

Texas 2 Step - Its Money Page - Always current. For all drawings except the first drawing, they're paying the "advertised amount" for the top prize and not the pari-mutuel percentage of sales. The March 6, 2002 Commissioners meeting. This is when the TLC staff asked the Commissioners to propose rule changes for the Cash 5. See what they failed to tell the Commissioners about this rule change. Click here.

A portion of the transcript from the May 30, 2001 Commissioners meeting where the Commissioners ask counsel to "reform the rule to meet the needs discussed." They rejected the current proposed rule changes. But question is, will the TLC come back and propose to still pay 6 of 6 winners the advertised amount and not the percentage due the 6 of 6 winners? The April 13, 2000 Commissioners meeting. Commissioners heard testimony from the Texas Food Industry that they had received over 3700 surveys and the majority were in favor of 6/54 ... (BUT - this testimony was re-clarified one month later.) Click here.

May 12, 2000 Commissioners Meeting. Now comes a "clearer" explanationabout the surveys. Turns out G-Tech gave the majority of the surveys to the Texas Food Industry Association who in turn turned them into the TLC. 12-02 - "Domain Name Bullies" is a term used for big companies (like the Tx Lottery) who tries to force smaller companies out of their domain names. But the domain names in question were acquired in "good faith" and have never missed a lick in posting drawing results ... something the Texas Lottery didn't even do when the respective sites were built. 6/54 At One Year- The TLC increased sales by $135,903,506 in the last 105 draws but did they make more money? I don't think so - when you add up everybody's take of sales and what they actually paid out, they are $8,215,531 short and the money has to come from somewhere. The Surveys
(These surveys were the Commission's support for the 6/54 - yet, they had 3000 letters and petitions from players who opposed the plan - but you don't see them acknowledged anywhere. Also note worthy, the majority of the survey's didn't even include addresses - addresses are required for a comment to be considered a part of the record. Yet they are listed at the Texas Registry.)

The Commissioners voted in favor of these rule changes on April 25, 2002.
They went against the players who said no to 6 draws per week and no to smaller prizes.

Brief Description of Proposed Rule:
The original "proposed" rule guaranteed all prize amounts for Lotto Texas EXCEPT the 6 of 6 prize. The TLC wanted the new rule to state that they could pay the amount they advertised rather than the amount allocated from sales. In otherwords, if adopted, they could pay whatever they chose to pay. This was not adopted. 6 of 6 winners are now guaranteed to receive "at least" the amount allocated from sales if not more - the word "may" was replaced with the word "shall" regarding the amount won by 6 of 6 winners.
